Access any Blocked Website using Portable Proxy Software Toonel

Usually, when we Surf via Internet at home there is no restriction on accessing any site. Want to listen to a good music? There are huge list of Online Radio Station to choose from or Want to watch any good video? There are lots of Video Streaming websites like YouTube or Google Video.

The freedom which we have at home when it comes to using Internet is not available at Work Place.

We can adjust without accessing Blocked Radio Station website but sometimes even news sites which provide latest information are also blocked. This really upsets any regular Internet user.

One of the best ways to access any blocked website is by using Proxy server. In my previous article, i had written about Opera Mobile Browser, which provides easy access to website blocked by Cyberoam.

But, Opera Mobile Browser has its own limitation. Users cannot watch Video content in Opera Mini Browser, which means that Video Streaming websites like YouTube or Google Video won’t work.

So, it’s time to use yet another Proxy Software known as Toonel.

Toonel is portable software which provides access to any blocked website. There is no need of installation.

1) First double click on the .jar file.

2) Open ‘Firefox‘ Browser, select ‘Tools‘ > ‘Options’ > ‘Advanced‘ > ‘Network‘.

3) Under ‘Connections‘, click on ‘Settings‘ > ‘Manual Proxy Configuration‘.

4) Add 127.0.0.1 inside ‘HTTP PROXY‘ box and Port number 8080. Click on ‘ok’ button.

That’s it, proxy will be activated in your system and you can access any websites which are blocked.

If in case you want to disable Proxy, all you have to do is choose ‘No Proxy’ under connection settings in Firefox Browser.

You can also add IP’s of any other country, under ‘Mapping’ option in Toonel.

As Toonel makes use of Java Runtime Environment, it can also be used to activate Proxy in Cell phones and is compatible with Operating System like Linux, Solaris and Mac.
