We come across many interesting websites. From social networking sites like Facebook, Myspace,Twitter and Orkut to shopping sites like Amazon and eBay.

All these websites are accessed very often. Instead of typing in the entire name of the website, we tend to bookmark these websites.

Here is easier way of accessing this website using keyboard shortcuts in Firefox.

SiteLauncher is Firefox add on that will create a website shortcut.

Once the add-on is installed, ‘Site Launcher’ will appear in the navigation toolbar.

Click on the ‘Manage Shortcuts’ option, here you will find two different option. One is “Launcher Hotkey”, combination of these keys will open a SiteLaunch Panel, with a list of your favorite websites.

For example, if the shortcut for amazon.com is ‘a’. Then, press Ctrl + Space, this will launch SiteLaunch panel and press ‘a’. Amazon.com will be opened in a new tab.

Another option is “Direct to Site Hotkey”. Combination of these keys will directly launch desired websites.

For example, to launch Facebook.com, press Ctrl + Space + f.

You can customize the keyboard shortcuts and simplify it, by just setting ‘Space’ as a Hotkey. To launch any website, for example amazon.com just press Space + a.
