Spicy Egg Masala Fry

Spicy egg masala fry is a quick and easy recipe for egg lovers that you can make in a very simple way. You can serve it as a side dish for sambar rice and rasam rice. It will be delicious and you can also serve it as starters.


  • 4 Boiled eggs(cut into half)

  • Chilli powder 2 tsps

  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp

  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp

  • Oil 4 tsps

  • Salt

Preparation Method

Boil 4 eggs cut into half and keep it aside. Then take a bowl to make masala. Add Chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, salt and 2 tsps of oil in a bowl then mix it. Add little water and make it like a paste. Apply the masala to the boiled eggs and marinate them for 10 mins.

How to make Spicy Masala Egg fry

Place a pan on a stove, heat the pan, and add 2 tsps of oil to it. Now add the marinated eggs. Fry the eggs in low flame(2 minutes on each side). Cover the pan with a lid (sometimes it may explode like mustard). You will get a nice aroma. Turn off the stove, garnish with curry leaves and coriander leaves. Serve it hot and enjoy your yummy, Spicy Egg masala fry.


  • Take hard-boiled eggs.

  • Cook it in a low or medium flame or else masala will burn.

  • We adding oil in marination to avoid masala and eggs are not to split.

  • Add 1/2 tsp salt and adjust salt according to your taste.

  • Add water little by little too much of water will make the consistency thinner.
